Upwork defines “core clients” as employers with all-time platform spending of at least $5,000, including some activity within the last 12 months. So it’s difficult to do and apple’s to apple’s comparison with fiverr. If somone could find the Upwork total active client number that would be helpful.

That’s truly incredible and not sure what the math works out as an average for each freelancer but I’m signing up today to offer design services. Can’t wait to try and work for a Fortune 100 company with my new business, Creator on Call. Thanks so much for your article, I will now just focus on Upwork and see how it goes for a few months before trying to add Fiverr.
